Cambodian National Assembly and AIPA-43 President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN Hosts Friendship and Unity Golf Playing Within AIPA Family 11/22/2022 12:19:23 AM On the morning of 22 November 2022 at Garden City Golf Resort, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and President of the 43rd AIPA, played golf with the Speakers from AIPA Member Parliaments to further strengthen their friendship and solidarity ties in the AIPA family. Sport brings about good health and friendship. Traditionally, AIPA parliamentary speakers have always taken the opportunity during the annual general assembly to consolidate their bonds of friendship and solidarity through playing sport. The 43rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly is being held under the theme "Advancing Together for Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient ASEAN" from 20 to 25 November 2022 in Phnom Penh. The ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) is a parliamentary forum of ASEAN member states that brings together the representatives of the peoples of the region to exchange views and experiences to promote parliamentary mechanisms under a broad vision and close cooperation to address common challenges affecting Southeast Asia and beyond for the sake of security, stability and sustainable prosperity. AIPA member countries are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
