On the morning of 10 November 2022 at the Cambodiana Hotel, Honourable Kittisethabindit Cheam Yeap, First Vice-President of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Cambodian AIPA National Group, chaired a preparatory meeting towards the ASEAN-AIPA Leaders' Interface Meeting. AIPA member delegations have provided inputs on the common views on behalf of their respective countries to be included in the message by Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia and Rotating President of the 43rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-43), who will be addressing ASEAN leaders at the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits this afternoon.
The preparatory meeting has proposed that the Meeting appoints Honourable President of the National Assembly of Thailand and Honourable President of the National Assembly of the Philippines as Speakers for the afternoon ASEAN-AIPA Leaders' Interface Meeting.
President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN, will lead a high-level parliamentary delegation from AIPA member countries to attend the ASEAN-AIPA Leaders' Interface Meeting to be held on the afternoon of 10 November 2022 at 14:00 at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Residence during the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits.
AIPA member parliaments attending the ASEAN-AIPA Leaders' Interface Meeting are from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
